Nutrition is what we feed to the cells of our body that support our life. When we think of nutrition we normally just think of the food we eat, but our food is not our only source of nutrition. When we think of feeding our cells, we can also think about a sanskrit term called prana.
Prana refers to the life-sustaining force of living beings and the vital energy of the Universe. The presence of prana is said to be what distinguishes a living body from a dead one. When a person (or any other living being) dies, the prana is thought to leave the body. So, we can think of prana as our ‘life force.’ This prana is our most basic nutrient. ‘Life force’, or prana,on the physical plane, comes from the live food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breath and the sunlight we absorb. We could say our prana comes from the earth, the water, the air and the fire. It is also said that there is one more source of prana and that is what we can call for now Spirit. (or God.) Some will say that Spirit is the ultimate source of nutrition. So, in beginning our healing process, it will be imperative for us to analyze and ask: from where are we receiving our prana?
Affirm: I am open to healing my body and my life. I know my cells are being nourished because I make choices that support my life force. I am feeling healthy today.

Health and nutrition are such big topics. When one starts to learn about the complex workings of the human body it can be quite overwhelming at first. Disease and sickness can be such a scary thing to face. I think this is why so many people have given there bodies and their minds over to their doctors with almost a total blind faith. Many doctors of this modern day are nothing short of amazing, but, nothing will change the fact that it is your body that is the issue at hand. No one knows your body, as you know your own body. You know all you have put your body through over the years; you know your patterns since you were a child; you know the little things that make you feel better or worse. We all want things to be easy and to just go to the doctor for the ‘magic feel all better’ pill. But, the truth is that there is no such thing; with pharmaceuticals causing a wide array of unwanted serious side-effects, people are starting to look for more natural and lasting ways to alleviate their illnesses. I feel it’s time to begin to reclaim the power of our bodies and our health. We know that it is possible for all our cells to regenerate and rejuvenate. We can have faith in a Divine order and have faith in ourselves to do what is right for the improvement of our own health. We can have faith in our ‘inner knowing’.
Affirm: I bring good health and healing into my body. I now know that healing is possible. I have the power to heal myself.
