Yellow Self-Existing Warrior
We are on our way to better health if we add more vibrant food to our diets, increase our water intake and begin to connect more consciously with the air we breathe. Over 90% of the energy used by our bodies comes from oxygen we take in through the lungs and skin. Oxygen is our most important nutrient because obviously we wouldn’t be able to live without it for even a few minutes. Sometimes the word prana and air (breath) are used interchangeably. When we take air into our lungs, its energy is transferred into our bodies. In a forest, for example, or near the beach, do you notice how it feels like we can just breathe easily and deeper? This air is vibrant. This air has an enhanced energy field. If the air we breathe regularly is circulated through air conditioning or heating ducts or smoke filled, this air would be the opposite of vibrant or charged. Of course, one of the most harmful things we can do for our lungs is to smoke cigarettes (or cigars) on a regular basis, especially the national brands.
“Every time you inhale smoke from a cigarette (or cigar), you kill some of the air sacks in your lungs, called alveoli. These air sacks are where the oxygen that you breathe in is transferred into your blood. Alveoli don’t grow back, so when you destroy them, you have permanently destroyed part of your lungs. Smoking paralyzes the cilia that line your lungs. Cilia are little hairlike structures that move back and forth to sweep particles out of your lungs. When you smoke, the cilia can’t move and can’t do their job. So dust, pollen, pollution, and other things that you inhale sit in your lungs and build up. Also, there are a lot of particles in smoke that get into your lungs. Since your cilia are paralyzed because of the smoke and can’t clean them out, the particles sit in your lungs and form tar.”
Quitting smoking might not be easy to do, but it will be so much worth it when you start seeing your quality of life return with your quality of breath. It would be very hard for our bodies to regenerate without enough oxygen. Oxygen is Life. Beginning to breathe more and more fresh air is a very important step in our healing. Not only must we breath fresh air, but we must also learn to breathe fully and consciously. We breathe all day to stay alive, but most people are only using about 10% of their breaths potential capacity. Although, not breathing deeply does not harm us directly, it can have long term negative effects on our bodies.
Deep breathing exercises should be done using our stomach muscles. We need to let our stomach go out as far as possible as you inhale through your nostrils and you can completely fill your lungs and stomach with air. Pause for a couple of seconds. Then exhale out all the air from our lungs and stomach as our stomach gets flatter. Focus your attention on the two pauses that occur while breathing. First between inhalation and exhalation -and then between exhalation and inhalation. Repeat this process over and over mindfully. Just by doing this we will start getting in touch with deep breathing and immediately start feeling the healing benefits.
Affirm: I am healing myself with each breath of fresh air i take in. I am breathing deeper and deeper, relaxing with each exhale.

Affirmation is a powerful tool that you can use to change your life and improve your health. The mind is a powerful key to self healing. An affirmation is a statement that you are repeating over and over again until it becomes a part of your truth and part of your normal way of thinking.
The positive affirmation becomes more powerful when it is stated with a feeling behind it. Positive affirmations are super charged when the feeling behind the affirmations are based in love and compassion towards oneself. The best way of repeating your positive affirmation is to first bring yourself into a relaxed state of mind before you start.
A simple technique is to sit down in a chair with a straight spine, relax your breathing, and close your eyes. Set your intention to bring healing energy into your entire body. Then, start to focus on your own breath by breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth. When you breathe in, follow the breath all the way down into your stomach, feeling that your stomach and lungs expand. Then, breathe out through your mouth. To go deeper into relaxation, open your mouth and make a soft sound of “aaahhh” while you breathe out. Exhale out all the breath pulling the stomach slowly in until all the air is out. Do this while you are counting up to ten and then back to one again, counting one number on each out breath. Then, you are ready to start with your positive affirmation. Take the sentence you chose and repeat it ten times—one time on each out breath while holding a feeling of self-love and compassion.
After you have repeated your favorite affirmation, go on to your next one, and do the same for every affirmation that feels right to you. Pick only a few sentences to work with until you feel they have become a part of you, and then you can pick new affirmations to work with. After you have done your positive affirmation session, it is important to show your gratitude to the Universe/God/Great Spirit and to yourself by saying: “Thank you for my breath. Thank you for this moment. Thank you for all the good in my life.” An affirmation of gratitude is the most powerful positive affirmation of all. It is said that what we focus on will grow. Affirmations are like planting seeds which in time, with nurturing, will grow.
Affirm: I am loving myself. I am healing myself. I am open to new ideas.

The mind is the single most important factor for predicting lifelong good health and longevity. The mind is the essential key to healing ourselves.
Scientific research shows that mind-body factors have a far greater effect upon your health than diet, exercise, exposure to germs or toxins, smoking, genetics, or any other known health risk factors.
“If you’re really concerned about your health, it’s time to start changing your mind.” check out this very interesting link explaining more….

“Every thought you think every word you say is an affirmation. All of our self-talk or inner dialogue is a stream of affirmations. We are continually affirming subconsciously with our words and thoughts and this flow of affirmations is creating our life experience in every moment. Our beliefs are just learned thought patterns that we have developed since childhood, many of these work well for us, but others may now be working against us, they are dysfunctional and may be sabotaging us from achieving what we believe we want. Every affirmation we think or say is a reflection of our inner truth or beliefs. It is important to realize that many of these “inner truths” may not actually be true for us now or may be based on invalid or inappropriate impressions we constructed as children, which if examined as an adult can be exposed as inappropriate. You can use “Positive Affirmations“, which are usually short positive statements targeted at a specific subconscious set of beliefs, to challenge and undermine negative beliefs and to replace them with positive self-nurturing beliefs.”
Affirm: My body heals quickly and easily. Every Cell in my body vibrates with energy and health. Loving myself heals my life. I nourish my mind, body and soul.
Continually repeating affirmations with conviction and passion can chip away at even the strongest resistance.
