13-Moon Date: Moon 9 Day 28
Red Rhythmic Serpent
Nutrition is what we feed to the cells of our body that support our life. When we think of nutrition we normally just think of the food we eat, but our food is not our only source of nutrition. When we think of feeding our cells, we can also think about a sanskrit term called prana.
Prana refers to the life-sustaining force of living beings and the vital energy of the Universe. The presence of prana is said to be what distinguishes a living body from a dead one. When a person (or any other living being) dies, the prana is thought to leave the body. So, we can think of prana as our ‘life force.’ This prana is our most basic nutrient. ‘Life force’, or prana,on the physical plane, comes from the live food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breath and the sunlight we absorb. We could say our prana comes from the earth, the water, the air and the fire. It is also said that there is one more source of prana and that is what we can call for now Spirit. (or God.) Some will say that Spirit is the ultimate source of nutrition. So, in beginning our healing process, it will be imperative for us to analyze and ask: from where are we receiving our prana?
Affirm: I am open to healing my body and my life. I know my cells are being nourished because I make choices that support my life force. I am feeling healthy today.
